Former Analyst
Samuel Thomas Wilkes is a PhD candidate in the Learning Sciences program at Clemson University. Considering himself a lifetime Tiger, he previously graduated from Clemson in 2012 with a BA in English. Prior to becoming an NCGrowth analyst, Samuel worked as a graduate assistant at Clemson, splitting time between teaching educational psychology and completing research for the Center for the Recruitment and Retention of Diverse Educators. Samuel’s dissertation, Under the Nexus of Domination: Tokenism and Its Manifold Experience in Predominantly White Institutions, investigates how workplace under representation affects the psychosomatic health of Black academics.
