Nicole Thomas is an MBA student at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. A Florida native, she graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a degree in Finance. After graduating, she ventured up north to Washington, D.C. to advise government contractors on preventative fraud practices and other complex accounting issues. Nicole then took her business advising skills to the Peruvian Andes where she initiated projects focused on women/youth entrepreneurship, personal financial management, and community bank development as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Nicole is thrilled to continue working in community economic development with the Kenan Institute.
