Metra Sheshbaradaran is a second-year master’s student in the City and Regional Planning Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is originally from Belmont, NC and graduated from UNC-CH in 2021 with her B.A. in Public Policy and Economics. During her gap year between enrolling in graduate school and graduating from undergrad, she served as a Lead for North Carolina Fellow with the City of Goldsboro.
She is interested in sustainable design, downtown development, and equitable access to green space. In her free time, Metra enjoys playing sports with friends, doing the daily crossword, and cheering on the UNC Men’s Basketball.
