Erin O’Quinn is a 3rd year Ph.D. Student in the Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media Program at NC State. A native of rural South Georgia, her research centers around best practices for designing user-centered cultural heritage projects in collaboration with stakeholder communities. She holds 5 years of experience in higher education, which includes serving as a research assistant for multiple interdisciplinary research projects. Erin has a master’s degree in English from UNC-Wilmington and a bachelor’s degree (also in English) from the University of Georgia—Go Dawgs! Contrary to popular belief about Georgians, she has sadly never even picked a peach.
