Austin Amandolia is a Master of City and Regional Planning student at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he focuses on issues of equitable economic development, specifically interested in issues of wealth and income inequality. Amandolia is also an Associate at Broughton Consulting, managing day-to-day operations, including systems development and social media marketing for the North Carolina Employee Ownership Center, a new non-profit with a mission to expand employee ownership throughout the state. He is a former public-school teacher, current local advocate, has been published for research in Physics, and is an avid podcast listener. Volunteer activities include the Durham People’s Alliance Economic Justice Team and the Durham Workers’ Rights Commission.
