Andrew Meeker is a second-year master’s candidate in the Department of City and Regional Planning, specializing in land use and environmental planning at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. As a planner, Andrew is interested in learning lessons from trees, water, and decomposers, and applying them in ways to cultivate resilient systems and reverent human-ecological communities. Before UNC, Andrew worked as a map designer, a cook for changemakers, and regenerative economic organizer. He enjoys taking his cats for walks in the woods and would like to learn how to raise bees.
