Andre Sakai is a first-year MBA student at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He earned his bachelor of Business Administration at UFSC, a top 5 business school in Brazil. Immediately before beginning his MBA, he developed his own business in the textile industry working with custom-made products. He was inspired to start his own business after success doubling his family’s manufacturing business and raising over 350K for the project. Andre has also volunteered time to the Commerce and Service Association of his hometown, taking part in the revitalization of the local commerce of the region.
