knowledge of the organization’s staff with a
panel of experts and small business owners to
provide attendees with four workshop sessions.

Jessamyn Tracy has joined The National Center
for American Indian Enterprise Development (The
National Center) as a project director for its
Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA)
Business Center. The position is made possible
by a partnership with the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill’s CREATE/NCGrowth, which
is a multi-state economic development center
that envisions an economy that distributes
wealth equitably.

NCGrowth, which works with businesses and
communities across the Carolinas to create jobs
and equitable opportunities, is deepening its
connection to Western North Carolina through a
grant from Dogwood Health Trust. The expanded
commitment in the seven counties that make up
the southwestern corner of the state includes
the hiring of Stacy Guffey as program manager.
Guffey will be based in the area to oversee
NCGrowth’s efforts there.
