Zulekia “Zee” Cloyd serves as the Admin. & Communications Assistant for NCGrowth, an affiliated center of the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at UNC Chapel Hill. In this role, Zee supports the center’s operations, coordinates communications efforts, and ensures seamless execution of administrative tasks.

With a strong background in program coordination, administrative management, and community engagement, Zee brings a unique combination of organizational expertise and creative problem-solving to the NCGrowth team. Her dedication to fostering equitable economic development aligns with the center’s mission of creating opportunities for all to prosper.

A non-traditional student at East Carolina University, Zee is pursuing a degree in University Studies while balancing her professional and academic commitments. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, crafting, traveling, and being an active cheer and NCA&T BGMM band mom.

Through her work with NCGrowth, Zee strives to make a meaningful impact on economically distressed communities by enhancing operational efficiency and amplifying the center’s communications reach.
