Dave Olverson is a master’s candidate in the Department of City and Regional Planning at UNC Chapel Hill. After graduating with a B.A. in Economics from Duke University, Dave has held business development and marketing positions in apparel, publishing, technology, and health care. He worked at established companies such as Penguin Random House as well as both bootstrapped and venture-backed startup companies. Dave is excited combine his interest in business with his passion for planning and economic development at NCGrowth. In his spare time, Dave can be found chasing after his 1-year-old daughter and working on home improvement projects at his house in Durham, NC.
